Charter and private hire – in practice
A charter coach or private hire means you book a coach with a driver for your group's own trip. For a one-way transfer, give us the departure point, destination and arrival time. For a return trip we also need the address and time for the journey home. If the coach will drive between several places during the day, every stop and any waiting time should be in your request.
Example: the same outing, three different jobs. A one-way transfer ends when the group has been dropped off at the venue. A return trip also includes a pickup for the journey home. If the group also needs the coach to a lunch venue and back during the day, those journeys have to be included too. Tell us which option you want to compare and whether the coach needs to wait on site. The same destination and group size do not mean that two quotes cover the same work.

Fleet and choice of vehicle
We suggest a vehicle based on your group size and luggage. If you would like our most exclusive option, the Mercedes Sprinter with a chauffeur, mention VIP Sprinter in your quote request. We check availability and whether the vehicle suits the trip before a booking is confirmed.
Tell us both the number of passengers and the amount and type of luggage, for example suitcases or the team's equipment. A small group does not by itself tell us how much luggage space you need. The vehicle and space are confirmed for your specific trip.

What affects the price?
For coach hire with a driver, the quote depends on factors including:
Date and day of the week – tell us if you have alternative travel dates
Route and total driving time – list the addresses and your preferred arrival time
Waiting time and number of stops – describe what the coach is needed for between the outward and return journeys
Choice of vehicle – mention any preferences we should check
Number of passengers and luggage – include equipment beyond personal luggage
